Ooooh ooooh ooooh... This is a good one... I try to be a nice person really I do... But sometimes I would just rather say:

No it's not alright you lame beeeotches... my time is important too... it's not all right that you need to reschedule...
Does the nature of the opportunity AFFECT whether you know the people I asked you about?? (Do you mean you only KNOW them if there's something in it for you??
Call your mommy... NOW... (oh wait I did say that) Good... now that I have you on the phone tell me every detail of everything you are doing so I can determine if I need to fly in there on my broomstick and save you!!! (Ok I didn't say that part...)
